Master in International and Diplomatic Studies (MA) program lasts for two years and consists of 4 semesters. In the semester 3 the student chooses one of two fields of study within which he or she enrolls into two compulsory courses. In the semesters 3 and 4 one optional course is chosen from the optional courses list of both fields of studies. Distribution of compulsory and optional courses in the semesters 1 and 2 of the first year is defined by the annual pedagogical plan of the faculty.
Each compulsory and optional course of the MA study is worth 10 credit points (CP in the following). MA thesis is worth 20 CP. By successfully passing the examination of all 6 courses in the semesters 1 and 2 the student collects 60 CP. The student also collects 60 CP in the second year of the study. Study objectives for each of the 4 semesters are worth 30 CP. The entire study is worth 120 CP.
