In addition to Level 1, 2 and 3 publicly acknowledged study programs the Faculty for State and European Studies also carries out other activities.

On 6th of November 2008 the Faculty was again granted the authorization for carrying out the administration procedure professional examination by the Ministry of Public Administration, decision No. 60412-10/2006/84. Administrative procedure can only be carried out and decided upon by a person who fulfils the conditions regarding the education and administrative procedure professional examination (first paragraph of the Article 31 of the General Administrative Procedure Act). We offer candidates two-day or one-day preparation courses prior to the professional examination. Training is done by two acknowledged legal experts from this field:

• Prof. Tone Jerovšek, PhD and
• Prof. Janez Čebulj, PhD.

Together with the decision, the Ministry of Public Administration has also issued a resolution regarding the appointment of the proposed examiners and keepers of minutes. The committee examining the candidates consists of the following appointed examiners:

• Prof. Tone Jerovšek, PhD
• Prof. Janez Čebulj, PhD
• Jasna Pogačar
• Olga Jambrek, MA.

Recently the Faculty has been also devoting a lot of attention to the publishing activities, within which the primary study materials, textbooks and Dignitas magazine are being published.

The Faculty carries out the research and counseling activities which also encourages the cooperation of its MA and PhD students. The procedure to acquire the code of research organization and research team by the Faculty of State and European Studies is currently pending at the Slovenian Research Agency.
